INSURANCE BROKER

Linx Australia Group is a highly successful business with insurance, finance and mortgage teams across the eastern states of Australia and we are looking for someone to join us in managing an existing book of SME insurance clients, whilst also assisting the team with new business.
Our clients range from small to large commercial businesses and our role is to ensure all business assets are adequately protected. We believe in total client protection including looking after our clients’ personal assets.

You will be responsible for:
- Sales: Servicing existing clients through their renewals and insurance cycle
- Administration: Online system processing, report writing & debtor management
- Client Service: Responding to enquiries from existing and potential new clients, whilst also lodging and managing claims through the utilisation of broking skills that deliver the best outcomes for your clients
- Relationship Building: Establishing, developing and maintaining long term relationships with key decision makers from clients, underwriters and other insurance industry professionals
We would like you to have:
- 4+ years of broking experience
- Previous insurance industry experience
- An ability to understand FSRA Legislation
- Drive & Self-Motivation: A willingness to learn, grow with the company and create long term relationships with clients and insurance contacts, whilst being able to work autonomously.
- Planning & Organisation: An eye for detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Insurance Acumen: Experience in dealing with all insurance contacts, all classes of general insurance products and understanding what factors impact a business’ insurance needs.
Ideally, we would also like you to have the following educational qualifications:
- General Insurance Brokers Code of Practice
- Preferred – Tier 1 Broking / General Insurance Industry Qualification & Maintenance
